Welcome New Seton Hill Students!
It's Important to Check Your Email
You will begin to receive emails at both your Seton Hill University email address and the email that you provided on your application, as we begin to transition you from a prospective student to an incoming Griffin! You can expect communications from the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, Student Life, Residence Life, Health Services and others.
Getting Started
To officially become a Seton Hill Griffin, there are several steps that you’ll need to complete right away. To help you get started, we have set up a personalized portal where you can find your next steps and receive updates from the Admissions Team.
In the new applicant portal, you will find instructions on how to complete the following:
- Register for Setonian Orientation. At Setonian Orientation, you will schedule classes, receive your technology, get your Student ID, and meet other incoming Seton Hill students. Registration for an Orientation Session is required.
Orientation Dates:
May 18, 2024
Jun 14, 2024
Jul 19, 2024
Aug 21, 2024 (this date is reserved for out-of-state, international and transfer students)
- Activate your MySHU Account and Your Seton Hill Email Address. MySHU is Seton Hill’s intranet – where current students, faculty and staff go for campus news, announcements and information on departments and offices on campus.
- Complete Required Placement Exams. Completion of your placement exams is required to schedule your classes during Setonian Orientation. You can access your necessary exams in the portal.
- Complete your Medical Questionnaire and Submit your Immunization Records through the Wellness Portal. Learn more about the Wellness Portal and Health Requirements here.
